Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of OTPDrop. By funding a balance or buying a number you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

1. What the service is

OTPDrop rents access to virtual phone numbers so you can receive SMS one-time verification codes. You are renting the right to receive messages on a number for a limited period. You do not own the number, you cannot make or receive calls on it, and you cannot send SMS from it. Numbers are shared infrastructure and are returned to the pool after use.

2. Accounts

An account is a seed phrase. We do not ask for an email address, a phone number or identity documents, and we cannot verify who you are.

Your seed phrase is the only way into your account. We do not store it and cannot reset it. If you lose it, the account and any remaining balance are lost permanently, and there is no recovery process we can offer you. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe.

Anyone holding your seed phrase controls your account. Keep it to yourself.

3. Payment

Funding is cryptocurrency only. You top up a balance, and purchases are debited from that balance. Prices are shown in USD and converted at the rate displayed at the moment the deposit address is issued.

Send only the coin and network named on the invoice, to the address on that invoice. Funds sent in the wrong coin, on the wrong network, or to an expired address are generally unrecoverable, and we cannot return them.

Deposits are credited once the payment confirms on the network. That is not instant — how long it takes depends on the coin and the network, not on us.

4. Refunds

Refund rules are set out in full in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: an order that never receives a code is refunded to your balance, and balance credit is not paid back out to a wallet.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use OTPDrop to commit fraud, to impersonate another person, to take over accounts you do not own, to send spam, or for any purpose prohibited by the law that applies to you. You must not use it to evade a ban or a security control on a service that has excluded you.

Many online services prohibit verification by virtual numbers in their own terms. Deciding whether your use complies with a third party's terms is your responsibility, not ours.

We may suspend or close an account we reasonably believe is being used for the above, and we may do so without notice and without refunding the remaining balance.

6. Availability

Numbers depend on upstream carriers and on the destination service. We do not guarantee that a number for a given service or country will be available, that a code will arrive, or that the service will be uninterrupted. The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the order the claim relates to. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for the loss of an account on a third-party service.

8. Changes

We may amend these terms. The revision date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continued use after a change means you accept the amended terms.
