Why verify without giving up your own number?

Nearly every service on this list asks for a phone number before it will let you finish signing up. That number then becomes a permanent identifier: it links your accounts to each other, it usually survives you deleting the account, and it is among the first things exposed when a company is breached. Handing over your personal number to try something for ten minutes is a poor trade.

A virtual number takes the code instead. You rent one long enough to receive the message, read the code, and let it go — the service gets a valid number, and you keep yours.

Which service entry should you pick?

Choose the service you are actually verifying with. Numbers are priced per service because platforms differ in how readily they accept virtual numbers, and a number bought for one is not guaranteed to work with another. If what you need is not listed, Any Other covers services outside the catalogue.

Each service page shows what it costs by country, cheapest first. If a code does not arrive before the order expires, the price returns to your balance automatically — see the Refund Policy.

Should you buy one code or rent a number?

Buy a one-time number when the account is disposable. Rent one when it is not: anything you will log back into eventually asks to re-verify the number on file, and a disposable number cannot answer that. Both are paid from the same crypto-funded balance, with no email, no card and no identity check at any point.
